Sekarguna Medika Introduces Infrascanner Model 2500 at ICRAN 2025
Surabaya, August 14, 2025 – Sekarguna Medika reaffirms its commitment to bring innovative hospital equipment to Indonesia by participating in The International Conference on Recent Advances in Neurotraumatology (ICRAN 2025), held on August 15–16, 2025, at ASEEC Tower, Airlangga University, Surabaya.
This prestigious scientific event attended by neurosurgeons from various regions, Sekarguna presents the Infrascanner Model 2500—a lightweight, portable device specifically designed to detect traumatic supratentorial hematomas with a volume greater than 3.5 mL located less than 2.5 cm from the brain surface.
The Infrascanner Model 2500 is a portable device designed to assist in the early detection of intracranial hematomas. This device utilizes near-infrared spectroscopy technology to quickly scan brain conditions, making it an important aid in managing head injury patients, especially in emergency situations.
Using Near-Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy technology, the Infrascanner works by emitting safe light into the patient’s head via a disposable light guide. The returning signals are analyzed by a single-board computer (SBC) inside the device to provide a rapid and accurate positive or negative report. This process helps healthcare professionals make critical decisions in a short time, particularly during emergencies such as head injuries caused by accidents or field trauma.
Sekarguna Medika booth at ICRAN 2025 aims to introduce and showcase the Infrascanner Model 2500 to attending neurosurgeons.
