Celebrating 35 Years of Togetherness: Sekarguna Medika’s 35th Anniversary

For 35 years, Sekarguna Medika has grown through dedication, innovation, and strong partnerships. To commemorate this remarkable milestone, we were honored to welcome 35 principals and partners from around the world to Jakarta for a three-day celebration filled with meaningful moments, shared memories, and cultural experiences. Guided by the spirit of “Without You I Am Nothing, Working Together Is Success,” the anniversary celebration reflected the relationships and collaboration that have shaped Sekarguna Medika’s journey since 1991.

Day 1 – Welcome Dinner: A Night of Friendship and Reconnection

The celebration began on 19 June 2026 with a warm and intimate welcome dinner hosted at the residence of Yosefin Murdihardjo, Director of Sekarguna Medika. The evening brought together principals and guests from across the globe in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Over dinner, participants enjoyed lively conversations, shared stories, sang together, and created new memories while strengthening long-standing friendships. Laughter filled the room as guests connected beyond business, celebrating the relationships that have grown alongside Sekarguna Medika over the past three and a half decades. The evening also featured welcoming remarks from Mrs. Yosefin Murdihardjo, setting the tone for a meaningful anniversary celebration centered on appreciation, partnership, and togetherness.

Day 2 – Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Future

The second day marked the highlight of the anniversary celebration with the inauguration of Sekarguna Medika’s new building at its Head Office in Jakarta. The ceremony was led by Mrs. Yosefin Murdihardjo and featured a ribbon-cutting and traditional tumpeng celebration, symbolizing gratitude for the company’s achievements and hopes for continued growth in the years ahead. Guests were then invited to join a special building and museum tour, exploring the history of Sekarguna Medika from 1991 to 2026. The museum journey was thoughtfully organized into multiple decades, showcasing the company’s evolution through historical photographs, milestone achievements, pioneering products, and memorable moments that shaped its development. A particularly touching part of the program featured speeches from representatives of different generations within the company, including speakers representing Decade 1, Decade 2, and Decade 3, as well as a special message from a long-time friend of the late Mr. Lukas. These reflections highlighted the dedication, perseverance, and shared vision that have carried Sekarguna Medika through 35 years of growth. The celebration continued into the evening with a gala dinner featuring live band performances and traditional dances that showcased Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. As the night progressed, guests sang, danced, and celebrated together, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, appreciation, and unity.

Day 3 – Discovering Indonesia at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

On the final day, guests were invited to experience Indonesia’s cultural diversity through a visit to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. With participants coming from China, Taiwan, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and various European countries, the visit offered an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of Indonesia’s rich traditions and cultural heritage. Throughout the day, guests explored the park, visited various cultural pavilions, took photographs, and enjoyed the unique atmosphere that makes TMII one of Indonesia’s most iconic cultural destinations. One of the most memorable moments took place at the Papua Pavilion, where participants enthusiastically joined traditional dances, creating a vibrant and joyful celebration of cultural exchange and friendship.

The day concluded with a farewell dinner, providing one final opportunity for guests to gather, reflect on the past three days, and celebrate the strong partnerships that have contributed to Sekarguna Medika’s success. As Sekarguna Medika celebrates its 35th anniversary, this milestone serves not only as a reflection on the company’s achievements but also as a tribute to the people and partnerships that made them possible. The anniversary theme, “Without You I Am Nothing, Working Together Is Success,” perfectly captures the spirit that has guided Sekarguna Medika since its founding.
